Recognize Women’s History Month this March


As we recognize Women’s History Month this March and reflect on the great progress so many women have fought for over the decades, we can’t help but realize how much we still have to do! Join us for a dynamic community conversation about concrete actions we can take today to achieve gender equality.

The conversation will be at CSI on the 3rd Floor of Starrett-Lehigh, 8:30-10:30am. 

Guest Speakers
Carol Jenkins Co-President and CEO of the ERA Coalition/Fund for Women’s Equality: Carol is an award-winning writer, producer and media consultant. She is a sought-after speaker and writer on issues relating to the media, specifically the participation of women and people of color; women’s participation in the political and economic structures in the US; and the health of women in developing countries, particularly on the African continent. She was founding president of The Women’s Media Center, a national non-profit and serves as chair of AMREF USA, an African health organization.
Susan Davis Author, Thought Leader in International Development and Social Entrepreneurship Board Member, Centre for Social Innovation: Susan is an author, public speaker and expert in international development and social entrepreneurship. She is an Adjunct Associate Professor at New York University and senior Advisor to New York University’s Reynolds program on social entrepreneurship and active on many boards and advisory councils. She was the founding president and CEO of BRAC USA, an organization created in 2006 to support BRAC, the world’s largest development organization dedicated to eradicating poverty. Susan is Chair Emeritus and a founding board member of Grameen Foundation, a nonprofit Microfinance and technology organization for the empowerment of the poor.
