Free Self Defense Workshop
Are you interested in a FREE self-defense workshop at SL Fitness? Join us at SL Fitness on Tuesday, May 21, 5:30-7pm!
In this workshop, participants will learn how to stay alert and aware of their surroundings, use their environment to their advantage, and utilize their body as a weapon to escape an attack. By drawing on the techniques and concepts of the late Bruce Lee’s Jeet Kune Do system and Filipino Martial Arts, participants will learn to optimize their chances of survival in a dangerous confrontation.
The workshop will be run by Kristen Cabildo and Tim Hollenbeck. The instructors have over 30 years of combined martial arts experience in Jeet Kune Do, Filipino Martial Arts, boxing, Muay Thai, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. As instructors hailing from Unlimited Martial Arts in Brooklyn, they look forward to sharing their knowledge and passion about self-defense and the positive health benefits of a martial art lifestyle.
The workshop is limited to 20 participants so please RSVP via email or in person at SL Fitness on Floor 2M, Monday-Friday, 7am-9pm.
