New York City’s Building Energy Exchange
This year The Starrett-Lehigh Building embraced the challenge and participated in Building Energy Exchange (BE-Ex). The building scored 8 points out of 9, where every point is worth a successful project! Starrett-Lehigh team is working on meeting New York’s ambitious goal set by NYC Carbon challenge and reduce greenhouse emissions by 80% by 2050.
BE-Ex connects New York City’s real estate and design communities to energy and lightning efficiency solutions through education, interactive exhibitions, technology demonstrations, and research. Their center will be the central hub advancing energy efficiency in the built environment, both, locally and around the world.
